Richard arrived back in VDL per ship 'Eliza' (steerage) from San Francisco on the 30 August 1850. At the age of 21 he married Amelia LANGLEY who was 13 (her marriage certificate states 15, but she was born in 1837, which made her 13) in Hobart on the 30 September 1850 (registration 412). Richard and Amelia's children were: Frances Amelia PINNOCK born on the 14 July 1852 in Hobart (registration 1490). Elizabeth PINNOCK born on 16 February 1855 at Avoca, Victoria. It would appear that Richard's wife Amelia left VDL some time between 1852 and her return in 1856. It would also appear that his daughter Elizabeth returned to VDL in 1869. Amelia Pinnuck married William Watson in 1871 in Victoria. On this certificate she stated that she was a widow since July 1861. I have been unable to find any record of the death or burial of Richard Pinnuck.
