Headstones | Houliston Headstone in the Chirnside Graveyard This photo is of the front of the stone. More recent Houlistons are listed on the back side. Inscription on front says: Erected by Alexander Houlston in memory of his wife Alison Brown who died July 22 1825 aged 67 years. Also the above Alexander Houliston who died Octobeer 11 1832 aged 80 years. And Alexander his son who died 25 June 1867 aged 72 years also Margaret Goodall his wife who died 11th March 1879 Aged 82 years. |
