  Notes	Note from Leslie Fraser: James (1863-1944) started his career in the kirk in Glasgow, where in 1895 he married Margaret Kilpatrick. They had six of a family, at least one of whom was alive and most entertaining in her family reminiscences when I visited her in Falkirk a few years back. James and family moved to Dundee (not far from me here in Perth) and he became a most respected minister and member of the local community. He was last Moderator of the Free Church of Scotland before the 1929 union. Although none of his immediate family were prominent in the kirk, his grandson James Leslie Weatherhead was Moderator of the Church of Scotland relatively recently. Correction from grandson James Leslie Weatherhead (January 2008): James (born 1863) was Moderator of the General Assembly of the United Free Church of Scotland (not of the Free Church of Scotland) in 1927, which was two years before the 1929 union.
