Birth Date: October 15, 1794
Birth Place: Kailplet, Cranshaws, County Berwick, Scotland
Death Date: After 1860
Spouse notes:
According to the 1860 New York census records, we find Mary Lees
Houliston living with Andrew O'Neill Jr. and his wife Adaline
Houliston O'Neill on the O'Neill family farm in Lisbon, New York.
She was then 66 years of age. Most likley she is buried in the private
O'Neill Family Cemetery or the White Church Cemetery. No doubt her
husband, Andrew Houliston, the patriarch of this Houliston family in
America, had passed away by then. Mary Houliston is listed in the
census as having no real estate, but good personal wealth. No doubt
the money she reported was what she would have after the family farm
had been sold and Andrew's estate settled.
