Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at the Lawrence Funeral Home, the Rev. Dr. Walter P. Doty, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, officiating. The body will be placed to the vault of the White Church Cemetery, Lisbon, until burial in the spring. He was horn June 28, 1870, and was adopted by Mrs. Purvis’ parrots, the Sparrowhawks. He spent his life on the farm in Lisbon until he came to live in Canton with Mrs. Purvis. =======================================================================
