  Notes	From SA Genealogies: Birth 15 Sep 1888 Baptism 4 Nov 1888 Robertson Info from nephew Denis: Koos never 'worked'. He had a lorry that he would tradein/replace 'every year'. He would use this to load up apples at his cousins farm(s) in De Koo then drive down to Gans Bay to sell. There he would load up with fish and trade this back inland. Died in Stanford. also story related by Denis' father that his elder brother (Koos) had gone to visit a girl/women that he liked. He travelled on a stallion and when he arrived at her house the stallion 'threw him'. Embarrased he got back on the horse and never showed his face there again.
